Seahawks Work some Magic to Edge Vikings
The Seahawks beat the Vikings 10-9 in terrible weather conditions, and will play the Carolina Panthers (15-1) in the divisional round. It was really a miracle for the Seahawks, as they were down earlier in the game 9-0, and the Vikings kicker, Blair Walsh, missed the potential game-winning kick at the end of regulation. Walsh has been one of the best kickers in the league, and made three other field goals earlier during the game, and the 27 yard field goal he kicked was practically a chip shot. His miss was simply unacceptable in the situation, and he will go down in history with this blunder. At the same time, we should take into account the Seahawks' comeback. They played terrible football the first three quarters of the games on the offense, and were unable to move the ball down the field. The entire team saved their best for later in the game, and Russell Wilson was the catalyst of the comeback, as he played extremely well. The Seahawks and Vikings played a great game right down to the wire, and the Seahawks will be moving ahead to the divisional round, while the Vikes will be looking forward to next year.
