Eagles are #1; Who is #2? The Philadelphia Eagles are dealing with a couple of injuries (primarily one to Carson Wentz), but they are the defending Super Bowl champs and deserve the #1 spot in this season's first power rankings. The NFC looks more loaded this year compared to the AFC, and there will be a lot of great matchups week in and week out in that conference. The rookie quarterbacks have looked great so far in the preseason; I do not really have anything bad to say about Sam Darnold, Josh Rosen, Lamar Jackson, Baker Mayfield, or Josh Allen.
