Top 15 Quarterbacks in the NFL

Tom Brady is Suspended

Brady Suspended for 4 Games Remember Deflategate? Well, one week ago, the Wells Report was complete and it said that the New England Patriots most likely deflated their footballs to gain an advantage against the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Game. The winner would move on to the Super Bowl. Roger Goodell, the Commissioner of the NFL, decided to suspend Tom Brady for four games at the beginning of the NFL season, and a first round pick was taken away from them. I believe that the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Dallas Cowboys must be really happy. They do not have to face Tom Brady and will probably defeat the Patriots now that he is out. Was this the correct suspension for Brady? In my opinion, I believe that he should have been suspended for ten games in the regular season. Belichick should be suspended as well. Anyways, Deflategate has finally taken its toll on the NE England Patriots, defending Super Bowl Champions.

Fantasy Superstars?

Which Rookies will have a Strong Fantasy Impact Next Year? There were a lot rookies chosen in the NFL Draft who I believe could become the "Odell Beckham Jr." of the next fantasy year. Here are the top ten players who I think will have great fantasy years next season: Melvin Gordon - Running Back - San Diego Chargers Jameis Winston - Quarterback - Tampa Bay Buccaneers Marcus Mariota - Quarterback - Tennessee Titans Kevin White - Wide Receiver - Chicago Bears Amari Cooper - Wide Receiver - Oakland Raiders DeVante Parker - Wide Receiver - Miami Dolphins T.J. Yeldon - Running Back - Jacksonville Jaguars Tevin Coleman - Running Back - Atlanta Falcons Breshad Perriman - Wide Receiver - Baltimore Ravens Jaelen Strong - Wide Receiver - Houston Texans Note: Todd Gurley, running back for the St. Louis Rams, is recovering form an ACL injury and will be out for a couple of weeks at the beginning of the season.

Things to Watch for in the Draft

The Teams are on the Clock The Buccaneers have just picked Jameis Winston with the first overall pick. I am sorry that I could not finish my segment of the best draft choices for each team in the draft. Here is what to watch for in the first round of the draft this year: First round trades: There are rumors that the Titans and the Bears are expected to make moves in the first round, and watch out for the Eagles and the Browns to make some noise. Running Backs: It has been a couple of years since a running back has been picked in the first round, the last one being Trent Richardson. Will Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley be picked in the first round this year? Pass Rushers: This position of players probably have the most talent in the draft. How many will be picked in the first round?

Players with Question Marks Going into the Draft

Players With Issues There are a couple of players entering the draft this year who have problems that they need to resolve, otherwise their draft stock might decrease. Some whistle blowers around the league are even saying that they might fall into the second round! Here are the top five boom or bust and players with question marks heading to the draft: Shane Ray - Missouri - (Marijuana Possession and Injury) Randy Gregory - Nebraska - (Failed Drug Test) Jameis Winston - Florida State - (Off the Field Issues) Todd Gurley - Georgia - (Injury) Dorial Green-Beckham - Missouri - (Off the Field Issues and was out for a year)

Best Draft Choices for the Oakland Raiders

Get Weapons on Offense I do not think many football players want to play for the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, or Tampa Bay Buccaneers because all of these franchises have not played well the past decade. There is one team out of these three who could become a really good team quickly. And this team is the Oakland Raiders. They had a 3-13 record last season, but they played a lot better down the stretch. The biggest bright spots on the team are at quarterback with Derek Carr, and at linebacker with Khalil Mack. Both of these players were drafted last year in the first and second rounds of the 2014 draft, respectively. Also, a running back who goes by the name Latavius Murray shined on the big stage against the Kansas City Chiefs (there first win of the season) and then played well for the rest of the season. The biggest problem on the team though was that Derek Carr did not really have any targets to throw the ball to. This could change very quickly in my opinion. The Raid...

Best Draft Choices for the Chicago Bears

Will New Coaching Staff Improve Team A Lot? The Bears finished 5-11 last year, last place in the NFC North. In other words, they sucked. On offense and defense actually. If you want to know how bad their defense actually was, listen to this. The Bears allowed two straight 50 point games this season. Can you believe that? They allowed a lot of rushing and passing yards. On offense, the problems were surrounding their quarterback, Jay Cutler. He had a lot of weapons, four notable ones in fact. He had Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey were his wide receivers, Matt Forte was his running back, and a quarterback's best friend, Martellus Bennett, the tight end. Cutler was tied for most interceptions, was tied for the most fumbles in the league, and had the most turnovers in the league. This almost sums it up. He made a lot of fantasy owners look bad. On top of this, they have a lot of old players such as Lance Briggs and Charles Tillman who always get injured.  After the season ...

New Year-Free Agency-Trade Deadline?

Three Significant Trades: Winners and Losers Jimmy Graham to the Seattle Seahawks Winners: Russell Wilson - Quarterback - Seattle Seahawks  Seattle Seahawks Organization The NFC South - Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers Losers: Drew Brees - Quarterback - New Orlean Saints Doug Baldwin, Jermaine Kearse - Wide Receivers - Seattle Seahawks The NFC West Defensive Backs and Linebackers - San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, and St. Louis Rams Nick Foles to Rams and Sam Bradford to Eagles Winners: St. Louis Rams Organization Chip Kelly (Showing that he is in charge) People who did not think that the Eagles would trade up for Marcus Mariota Losers: Mark Sanchez - Backup Quarterback - Philadelphia Eagles Nick Foles - Quarterback - St.Louis Rams Marcus Mariota - Quarterback - Draft - Oregon Ducks Eagle jersey owners (Maclin, McCoy, Foles, Cole) People who thought the Eagles would trade up for Marcus Mariota Haloti Ngata to L...

Best Draft Choices for the Cleveland Browns

The Browns Need Help The Cleveland Browns finished the season with a 7-9 record, but they looked like a 0-16 team all season long. They need help. Brian Hoyer is gone and with the Houston Texans. Johnny Manziel is out for little to a lot of time and remains in rehab. Josh Gordon, one of the best wide receivers in the league with a lot of talent, is suspended for the entire 2015 season. No one wants to play for the Browns and no one is signing with them in free agency. There are a lot of thingas that need to be fixed on this team, but the organization keeps on making the wrong decisions and the franchise is headed for turmoil. What should they address with only one pick in the 2015 draft? I bet that none of the prospects wants to even play for the Browns. Do they need a Quarterback? Running Back (I think the running back position is fine for now for the Browns)? Wide Receiver? Offensive Tackle? Defensive Tackler? Outside Line Backer? The only position on their roster that is secure ...

Best Draft Choices for the Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are Definitely Going Young The Indianapolis are going to be at the top of their division for a really long time with Andrew Luck as their quarterback. They also will have the Luck-to-T.Y. Hilton connection for a long time, and are looking for a running back either in the draft or in free agency. Some reports have said that the Colts will sign either DeMarco Murray or Frank Gore. This will give them a dynamic offense to compete against the Texans defense led by J.J. Watt. The Colts have also cleared up a lot of cap space by releasing a couple of their old veterans, such as Reggie Wayne. They are becoming even younger. The Colts and coach Chuck Pagano need to land a pass rusher , such as Greg Hardy, and also need to improve their offensive line so they could rush the ball and try to do something against their rival "friend" J.J. Watt.  With the 29th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Colts will be looking for a running back, an offensive tackle, or a defe...

Best Draft Choices for the Philadelphia Eagles

Chip Kelly Is Revolutionizing the Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are probably the hottest team right now because of what Chip Kelly has done as the coach and general manager of the team. They just traded LeSean McCoy to the Bills, arguably the best running back in the game, for an ex-Oregon Duck. Also, the Eagles have parted ways with a couple of other players aw well. Kelly also has plans to sign Byron Maxwell, a cornerback from Seattle, and Frank Gore, the running back from San Francisco. They are definitely making the biggest splash so far. Chip kelly is taking a big gamble, but her wants to win a championship, and he needs to beat the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East, who were clearly the front-runners last year after making the playoffs. They own the 20th overall pick in the draft. Kelly reportedly has a lot of interest in Marcus Mariota, and will look for a trade to the 2nd-5th overall pick because the Jets need a quarterback. Also, the Eagles must fill up their depth chart wit...

Best Draft Choices for the St.Louis Rams

Should the Rams Pick A Quarterback? The St. Louis Rams (soon to be Los Angeles Rams) finished last in a tough NFC West division that includes the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and the San Francisco. They ended up with a 6-10 record and hold the 10th overall pick in the draft. Who should they pick? Sam Bradford was picked first overall in the 2010 draft, but has not performed to his expectations due to consecutive season ending injuries. Many people think that it is time to move on from him and pick either Marcus Mariota or Jamies Winston if they are still on the board. Do I believe that picking a quarterback is reasonable? No, not at all. Why? Well, first of all, Bradford is still young and I think that he will mature into a better quarterback. Also, a big reason for why he gets injured is because the people defending him are not good. He also does not have good wide receivers to throw to as well. Think about, the 49ers, Cardinals, and Seahawks, all have defenses that rank i...

Best Draft Choices for the Dallas Cowboys

Who Should the Cowboys Pick in the First Round? The Dallas Cowboys actually won the NFC East with a 12-4 record, edging the Philadelphia Eagles, who ended with a 10-6 record. They looked like one of the best teams in the National Football League, having one of the best offensive trios with Tony Romo at quarterback, DeMarco Murray at the running back position, and Dez Bryant playing wide receiver. Although they made some noise in the playoffs, they did not reach the Super Bowl and I think many things will change with Jerry Jones handling the money, First of all, I believe that they will need a running back because I do not think Demarco Murray will come back to the Cowboys. They might look in free agency, with Mark Ingram out there, but they might also look into the draft. There are a couple of good running backs out there for them. Also, I bleive that they should look to improve their defense at the linebacker position (or a pass rusher), because Sean Lee always gets injured, and B...

Best Draft Choices for the Kansas City Chiefs

Leading Up to the Draft for the Chiefs Let me just state that I will choose teams randomly to write about from now on after writing about my favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons. First up (second up I mean), are the Kansas City Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs could have gone to the playoffs last year and finished with a winning record in the AFC (9-7). I believe that they could have actually made some noise in the playoffs because they had defeated the Patriots, the Super Bowl Champs, and other really good teams. The biggest problems were on offense, and not even one of their receivers caught a touchdown pass. No wide receiver. Not Dwayne Bowe. Not Donnie Avery. Their tight ends and running backs caught touchdowns, but not their wide receivers. The Chiefs need a Strong Safety and a couple of rookie wide receivers. Here are the most prominent prospects for the Kansas City Chiefs with the 18th overall draft pick: Landon Collins - Strong Safety - Alabama DeVante Parker - Wid...

Best Draft Choices for the Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons Draft Tracker For the next thirty-two days, I will be write about the draft needs and best players who would fit those needs in the draft. I will start off by writing about my favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons: Let me start off by saying that they definitely need a pass rusher, and they will probably get a pass rusher with the eighth overall pick: Dante Fowler Jr. - Florida Vic Beasley - Clemson Randy Gregory - Nebraska Shane Ray - Missouri Alvin "Bud" Dupree - Kentucky Arik Armstead - Oregon These players are basically in the conservation for the Atlanta Falcons as the draft is coming closer and closer.

QB's in 2015 Draft

Top 5 Quarterbacks in 2015 Draft The best rookie quarterback of 2014 was Derek Carr of the Oakland Raiders (and not Johnny Manziel). I believe that the top two quarterbacks of this draft will be even better. The Top 5 Quarterbacks in this years draft are: Jameis Winston - Florida State Marcus Mariota - Oregon Bryce Petty - Baylor Brett Hundley - UCLA Garrett Grayson - Colorado State

WR's in 2015 Draft

Top 5 Wide Receivers in NFL Draft I believe that one of these five rookie wide receivers of 2015 will play like Odell Beckham Jr. did in 2014. Top Five Wide Receiver Prospects entering the NFL Draft are: Amari Cooper - Alabama Kevin White - West Virginia Jaelen Strong - Arizona State DeVante Parker - Louisville Sammie Coates - Auburn

My Super Bowl Game Pick

Who Wins the Biggest Game of the Season? Seattle Seahawks 24 - New England Patriots 20 The Seahawks will get the repeat. Here is my bold prediction: Marshawn Lynch will rush and growl (without saying a word) for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns and will get the Super Bowl MVP award. He will also 75 more yards than LeGarrette Blount, the Patriots running back. It won't be a blow out like last year but the Seahawks will pull it out. And let me just make this clear: the Legion of Boom, I mean Kam Chancellor, Richard Sherman, and Earl Thomas, will play with all of their might even though they are injured. The Seahawks might not be able to throw the ball versus Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner, put Russell will use his legs as a running duel-threat quarterback. The X-Factor for the Patriots is Rob Gronkowski. If they cannot get their tight end into the game, they will lose. For the Seahawks, the X-Factor is Marshawn Lynch. if they cannot run the ball, they will have trouble movi...

MVP

Most Valuable Player of the Year There has been a lot of debate over who will become the Most Valuable Player u[ until 9 P.M. tonight on NBC when Seth Meyers will announce who it will be. Many people think it will Aaron Rodgers, who threw no interceptions at home this season, J.J. Watt, who had five touchdowns as a defensive player and had twenty plus sacks for the second season in a row, or even DeMarco Murray, who was the leading rusher in the league. I believe that the MVP should be J.J. Watt. Hands down, he was the best player in the NFL this year. This defensive lineman could technically play any position on the field. He aught interceptions, scored touchdowns as an OFFENSIVE PLAYER, sacked the quarterback and incredible amount of times... the list goes on and on. In fact, I am looking forward to seeing him kick field goals next year. Considering the fact that the Texans were 2-14 last year and were 9-7 this year... it shows how well J.J. Watt has played this year. He virt...

Top 5 Quarterbacks Under 30 Years old

Best Quarterbacks in NFL under 30 Years old The Top 5 Quarterbacks who are not the age of Peyton Manning and the likes of Tom Brady are: Andrew Luck - Indianapolis Colts Matt Ryan - Atlanta Falcons Russell Wilson - Seattle Seahawks Cam Newton - Carolina Panthers Matthew Stafford - Detroit Lions I would put Joe Flacco on this list but I am pretty sure that he just turned 30. So, this is your list of quarterbacks.

Top 10 Players in Pro Bowl Draft

Top 10 Players in the Pro Bowl The Top 10 Players in the Pro Bowl Draft are: J.J. Watt - Houston Texans (Team Carter) Andrew Luck - Indianapolis Colts (Team Carter) DeMarco Murray - Dallas Cowboys (Team Irvin) Odell Beckham Jr. - New York Giants (Team Irvin) Antonio Brown - Pittsburgh Steelers (Team Carter) Patrick Peterson - Arizona Cardinals (Team Carter) Zach Martin - Dallas Cowboy (Team Irvin) Matt Ryan - Atlanta Falcons (Team Irvin) Luke Keuchly - Carolina Panthers (Team Irvin) Jamaal Charles - Kansas City Chiefs (Team Carter)

My Conference Championship Game Picks

An Upset? Here are my predictions for this week's games: Green Bay 17 - Seattle 23  Actually, I said that the Seahawks were going to win by 17 points, but I know that it is probably going to be a much closer game. This is not going to be like the Week 1 match up because the Packers are going to play much better. But the outcome will remain the same. The X-factor for the Packers is Eddie Lacy. The Packers will not be able to rely on a hobbled Aaron Rodgers all the time, and definitely not against the Legion of Boom. Lacy is going to have to carry the ball for over 125 yards for the Packers to have a chance at winning. For the Seahawks on offense, i think that the X-factor is Doug Baldwin, their wide receiver. If the Packers are somehow able to stop Marshawn Lynch and Russell Wilson with their run game, Wilson will be forced to throw the ball. Baldwin must come up big for the Seahawks. In the end, I believe that Seattle's defense will win it for them. Indianapolis ...

Best Rookies of 2014-2015 Season

Odell Beckham Jr. at the Top of the List There were many great rookies this season, especially the class of wide receivers. Here is my list of the top 20 rookies of this season: Odell Beckham Jr. (WR) - New York Giants Jeremy Hill (RB) - Cincinnati Bengals Mike Evans (WR) - Tampa Bay Buccaneers Khalil Mack (OLB) - Oakland Raiders Teddy Bridgewater (QB) - Minnesota Vikings Zach Martin (OG) - Dallas Cowboys Jake Mathews (OT) - Atlanta Falcons Joel Bitonio (OT) - Cleveland Browns Tre Mason (RB) - St. Louis Rams C.J. Mosley (MLB) - Baltimore Ravens Bryan Stork (C) - New England Patriots Sammy Watkins (WR) - Buffalo Bills Kelvin Benjamin (WR) - Carolina Panthers Kyle Fuller (CB) - Chicago Bears Cody Parkey (K) - Philadelphia Eagles Derek Carr (QB) - Oakland Raiders Jarvis Landry (WR) - Miami Dolphins Davante Adams (WR) - Green Bay Packers Aaron Donald (DE) - St. Louis Rams Deone Bucannon (S) - Arizona Cardinals I might be a bit more of an offensive guy... Co...

Issues for the Cowboys

Separate Ways? This week, the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones reached an agreement with Jason Garrett to remain as the Cowboys head coach. He was also able to reach a deal with their offensive and defensive coordinators, Scott Linehan and Rob Marinelli. Now, the attention for the Cowboys turns to keeping their roster in tact, especially their core players. This year, Dez Bryant and DeMarco Murray will become free agents. Jerry Jones must do his best to resign these two players, but at the same time, not go over the luxury tax. I believe that the franchise should use the franchise tag on their star Pro Bowl wide receiver Dez Bryant who lead the NFL with the most touchdown catches. Now, the problem turns to DeMarco Murray. Would you resign him? I would. I do not think you should let go of a guy who just set franchise records for you. Even if he may decline. He deserves to stay in Dallas after the season he had. Now, the Cowboys and Murray must reach a settlement. Comment if you...

Play of the Year

Odell Beckham Jr. Tops Everyone Without a doubt, Odell Beckham Jr.'s catch was the best the entire year in my book. The best plays of the year include: Odell Beckham Jr.'s catch vs. Dallas Cowboys Marshawn Lynch 77-yard run vs. Arizona Cardinals Dez Bryant not-to-be catch in Divisional Round vs. Green Bay Packers Calvin Johnson catch vs. Carolina Panthers Kelvin Benjamin catch vs. Legion of Boom & Seattle Seahawks I believe that these were the top plays of the 2014-2015 season. Comment if you think any other plays were better than these.

Was it a Catch?

Dez Bryant catch Controversy Was it a catch? On 4th Down with 2 yards to go, Dallas went for it with the game on the line. They were down 26-21 after Green Bay had scored another touchdown. The season was on the line for the Cowboys. Tony Romo threw a ball deep down the sidelines to Dez Bryant, a Pro Bowl wide receiver, who caught the ball beautifully down the sidelines. It was first ruled a touchdown, but after Green Bay challenged, the call was overturned. Was this the right call? NO. Dez Bryant caught the ball firmly in his hands and then went to the ground. If he had not reached for the end-zone, the catch would have been complete. Instead, Dez Bryant went for the touchdown because he is not an ordinary wide receiver. The referees believed that Bryant had lost control of it while reaching for the touchdown. If you look at the play closely, he gripped it, went to ground, and then when he reached for the end-zone it came out, but he was already down by contact. This cost the game...

What Happens Next to Broncos?

John Fox, Denver Broncos, part ways Many people know that John Fox and the Denver Broncos mutually parted ways. So what happens next to the team? Peyton Manning might retire in the next couple of years. Jack Del Rio, their defensive coordinator, has a good chance of becoming the head coach of the Oakland Raiders. Adam Gase, their offensive coordinator, is getting many job offers from other teams with head coaching vacancies. There is a good chance that he might become the head coach of the 49ers. Demaryius Thomas, the Pro Bowl wide receiver, Julius Thomas, the Pro Bowl tight end, and Wes Welker, another wide receiver, all have expiring contracts. Will John Elway shake up the team entirely? This is the big question. Well, many things will happen this offseason for the Broncos, but the only way the Broncos keep Peyton Manning is if they keep Adam Gase. John Elway needs to know his plan for the future. I would try to understand if Peyton Manning will play next year, and shake up...

Rex Ryan to Stay in the AFC East

Rex Ryan to become the Head Coach of the Buffalo Bills The day right after the regular season ended, Rex Ryan was fired by the New York Jets on 'Black Monday.' It seemed as if he would receive offers from other teams to become their head coach. In fact, he had many interviews and it seemed as if it would be fit for him to become the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, who needed a defensive minded coach. Also, the Falcons had a quarterback in place. This is something that he did not have in New York. He had many troubles in New York with his quarterback, Geno Smith. So, my question is, why would he want to go to the Buffalo Bills, who are in a tough division with the New England Patriots, he has to play against the Jets twice a year, and he a young quarterback who was benched in favor of Kyle Orton, who retired at the end of the season? I think he took this job because he felt as if he got the most respect in the Bills organization compared to everyone else who needed a ...

Atlanta Falcons Coach Tracker

Who are the Atlanta Falcons going to hire? Coach Tracker The Atlanta Falcons are my favorite NFL team, so I had to create a post talking about who they might hire as their new coach. First of all, I must say that they probably have the most attraction for a head coaching job because they have a franchise quarterback in place with Matt Ryan, and have the best chance to get into the playoffs in a leaky NFC South. They were 13-3 a couple of years ago and were about to go to the playoffs! They just need to tweak the defense... a lot. Here are the coaches who they have interviewed for a head coaching job as of now: Rex Ryan - Former New York Jets coach Josh McDaniels - New England Patriots OC Todd Bowles - Arizona Cardinals DC Doug Marrone - Former Buffalo Bills coach Teryl Austin - Detroit Lions DC Dan Quinn - Seattle Seahawks DC Adam Gase - Denver Broncos OC Keith Armstrong - Current Atlanta Falcons Special Teams Coach As of now, Rex Ryan is the favorite for the ...

My Divisional Round Game Picks

Upsets Highlight the Divisional Round Baltimore 38 - New England 35 The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a win against the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Patriots are coming off a bye week as the #1 seed. Well, 77% of NFL fans believe that the New England Patriots will win this game. Not me. There are only three teams who have been able to understand the schemes of the Patriots in the playoffs. The Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets, and New York Giants. On top of this, Joe Flacco, has the highest win percentage of any quarterback in the playoffs. The Ravens have also solidified a run game with Justin Forsett. I think Tom Brady will once again struggle to put up points with heavy pressure coming from Terrell Suggs, Elvis Dumervil, and the rest of the Baltimore defensive line. This is going to be a close one, but I expect the Ravens offense to propel them past the Patriots for the upset. Carolina 13 - Seattle 24 The Panthers had an easy win against the struggling Cardinals, with...
