The Browns Need Help
The Cleveland Browns finished the season with a 7-9 record, but they looked like a 0-16 team all season long. They need help. Brian Hoyer is gone and with the Houston Texans. Johnny Manziel is out for little to a lot of time and remains in rehab. Josh Gordon, one of the best wide receivers in the league with a lot of talent, is suspended for the entire 2015 season. No one wants to play for the Browns and no one is signing with them in free agency. There are a lot of thingas that need to be fixed on this team, but the organization keeps on making the wrong decisions and the franchise is headed for turmoil. What should they address with only one pick in the 2015 draft? I bet that none of the prospects wants to even play for the Browns. Do they need a Quarterback? Running Back (I think the running back position is fine for now for the Browns)? Wide Receiver? Offensive Tackle? Defensive Tackler? Outside Line Backer? The only position on their roster that is secure and is pretty good are their defensive backs. Even they get good players from this year's draft, the Browns will still be one of the worst teams in the NFL next year.
The Cleveland Browns hold the 19th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. I think they will mainly address wide receiver or their defensive line. Maybe even offensive tackle. Who knows with the Browns. The prospects who do not actually want to play for them are:
- DeVante Parker - Wide Receiver - Louisville (Cooper and White will be off the board)
- Jaelen Strong - Wide Receiver - Arizona State
- Dorial Green-Beckham - Wide Receiver - Missouri
- Jordan Phillips - Nose Tackle - Oklahoma
- Danny Shelton - Nose Tackle - Washington (Like Haloti Ngata)
- Arik Armstead - Defensive Tackle - Oregon
- Eddie Goldman - Defensive Tackle - Florida State
- Andrus Peat - Offensive Tackle - Stanford
- T.J. Clemmings - Offensive Tackle - Pittsburgh
- Ereck Flowers - Offensive Tackle - Miami
- La'el Collins - Offensive Tackle - LSU
