Best Draft Choices for the Oakland Raiders

Get Weapons on Offense I do not think many football players want to play for the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, or Tampa Bay Buccaneers because all of these franchises have not played well the past decade. There is one team out of these three who could become a really good team quickly. And this team is the Oakland Raiders. They had a 3-13 record last season, but they played a lot better down the stretch. The biggest bright spots on the team are at quarterback with Derek Carr, and at linebacker with Khalil Mack. Both of these players were drafted last year in the first and second rounds of the 2014 draft, respectively. Also, a running back who goes by the name Latavius Murray shined on the big stage against the Kansas City Chiefs (there first win of the season) and then played well for the rest of the season. The biggest problem on the team though was that Derek Carr did not really have any targets to throw the ball to. This could change very quickly in my opinion. The Raid...

Best Draft Choices for the Chicago Bears

Will New Coaching Staff Improve Team A Lot? The Bears finished 5-11 last year, last place in the NFC North. In other words, they sucked. On offense and defense actually. If you want to know how bad their defense actually was, listen to this. The Bears allowed two straight 50 point games this season. Can you believe that? They allowed a lot of rushing and passing yards. On offense, the problems were surrounding their quarterback, Jay Cutler. He had a lot of weapons, four notable ones in fact. He had Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffrey were his wide receivers, Matt Forte was his running back, and a quarterback's best friend, Martellus Bennett, the tight end. Cutler was tied for most interceptions, was tied for the most fumbles in the league, and had the most turnovers in the league. This almost sums it up. He made a lot of fantasy owners look bad. On top of this, they have a lot of old players such as Lance Briggs and Charles Tillman who always get injured.  After the season ...

Best Draft Choices for the Cleveland Browns

The Browns Need Help The Cleveland Browns finished the season with a 7-9 record, but they looked like a 0-16 team all season long. They need help. Brian Hoyer is gone and with the Houston Texans. Johnny Manziel is out for little to a lot of time and remains in rehab. Josh Gordon, one of the best wide receivers in the league with a lot of talent, is suspended for the entire 2015 season. No one wants to play for the Browns and no one is signing with them in free agency. There are a lot of thingas that need to be fixed on this team, but the organization keeps on making the wrong decisions and the franchise is headed for turmoil. What should they address with only one pick in the 2015 draft? I bet that none of the prospects wants to even play for the Browns. Do they need a Quarterback? Running Back (I think the running back position is fine for now for the Browns)? Wide Receiver? Offensive Tackle? Defensive Tackler? Outside Line Backer? The only position on their roster that is secure ...

Best Draft Choices for the Indianapolis Colts

The Colts are Definitely Going Young The Indianapolis are going to be at the top of their division for a really long time with Andrew Luck as their quarterback. They also will have the Luck-to-T.Y. Hilton connection for a long time, and are looking for a running back either in the draft or in free agency. Some reports have said that the Colts will sign either DeMarco Murray or Frank Gore. This will give them a dynamic offense to compete against the Texans defense led by J.J. Watt. The Colts have also cleared up a lot of cap space by releasing a couple of their old veterans, such as Reggie Wayne. They are becoming even younger. The Colts and coach Chuck Pagano need to land a pass rusher , such as Greg Hardy, and also need to improve their offensive line so they could rush the ball and try to do something against their rival "friend" J.J. Watt.  With the 29th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, the Colts will be looking for a running back, an offensive tackle, or a defe...

Best Draft Choices for the Philadelphia Eagles

Chip Kelly Is Revolutionizing the Eagles The Philadelphia Eagles are probably the hottest team right now because of what Chip Kelly has done as the coach and general manager of the team. They just traded LeSean McCoy to the Bills, arguably the best running back in the game, for an ex-Oregon Duck. Also, the Eagles have parted ways with a couple of other players aw well. Kelly also has plans to sign Byron Maxwell, a cornerback from Seattle, and Frank Gore, the running back from San Francisco. They are definitely making the biggest splash so far. Chip kelly is taking a big gamble, but her wants to win a championship, and he needs to beat the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East, who were clearly the front-runners last year after making the playoffs. They own the 20th overall pick in the draft. Kelly reportedly has a lot of interest in Marcus Mariota, and will look for a trade to the 2nd-5th overall pick because the Jets need a quarterback. Also, the Eagles must fill up their depth chart wit...

Best Draft Choices for the St.Louis Rams

Should the Rams Pick A Quarterback? The St. Louis Rams (soon to be Los Angeles Rams) finished last in a tough NFC West division that includes the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and the San Francisco. They ended up with a 6-10 record and hold the 10th overall pick in the draft. Who should they pick? Sam Bradford was picked first overall in the 2010 draft, but has not performed to his expectations due to consecutive season ending injuries. Many people think that it is time to move on from him and pick either Marcus Mariota or Jamies Winston if they are still on the board. Do I believe that picking a quarterback is reasonable? No, not at all. Why? Well, first of all, Bradford is still young and I think that he will mature into a better quarterback. Also, a big reason for why he gets injured is because the people defending him are not good. He also does not have good wide receivers to throw to as well. Think about, the 49ers, Cardinals, and Seahawks, all have defenses that rank i...

Best Draft Choices for the Dallas Cowboys

Who Should the Cowboys Pick in the First Round? The Dallas Cowboys actually won the NFC East with a 12-4 record, edging the Philadelphia Eagles, who ended with a 10-6 record. They looked like one of the best teams in the National Football League, having one of the best offensive trios with Tony Romo at quarterback, DeMarco Murray at the running back position, and Dez Bryant playing wide receiver. Although they made some noise in the playoffs, they did not reach the Super Bowl and I think many things will change with Jerry Jones handling the money, First of all, I believe that they will need a running back because I do not think Demarco Murray will come back to the Cowboys. They might look in free agency, with Mark Ingram out there, but they might also look into the draft. There are a couple of good running backs out there for them. Also, I bleive that they should look to improve their defense at the linebacker position (or a pass rusher), because Sean Lee always gets injured, and B...

Best Draft Choices for the Kansas City Chiefs

Leading Up to the Draft for the Chiefs Let me just state that I will choose teams randomly to write about from now on after writing about my favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons. First up (second up I mean), are the Kansas City Chiefs. The Kansas City Chiefs could have gone to the playoffs last year and finished with a winning record in the AFC (9-7). I believe that they could have actually made some noise in the playoffs because they had defeated the Patriots, the Super Bowl Champs, and other really good teams. The biggest problems were on offense, and not even one of their receivers caught a touchdown pass. No wide receiver. Not Dwayne Bowe. Not Donnie Avery. Their tight ends and running backs caught touchdowns, but not their wide receivers. The Chiefs need a Strong Safety and a couple of rookie wide receivers. Here are the most prominent prospects for the Kansas City Chiefs with the 18th overall draft pick: Landon Collins - Strong Safety - Alabama DeVante Parker - Wid...

Best Draft Choices for the Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta Falcons Draft Tracker For the next thirty-two days, I will be write about the draft needs and best players who would fit those needs in the draft. I will start off by writing about my favorite team, the Atlanta Falcons: Let me start off by saying that they definitely need a pass rusher, and they will probably get a pass rusher with the eighth overall pick: Dante Fowler Jr. - Florida Vic Beasley - Clemson Randy Gregory - Nebraska Shane Ray - Missouri Alvin "Bud" Dupree - Kentucky Arik Armstead - Oregon These players are basically in the conservation for the Atlanta Falcons as the draft is coming closer and closer.
