Best Draft Choices for the Oakland Raiders

Get Weapons on Offense

I do not think many football players want to play for the Oakland Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, or Tampa Bay Buccaneers because all of these franchises have not played well the past decade. There is one team out of these three who could become a really good team quickly. And this team is the Oakland Raiders. They had a 3-13 record last season, but they played a lot better down the stretch. The biggest bright spots on the team are at quarterback with Derek Carr, and at linebacker with Khalil Mack. Both of these players were drafted last year in the first and second rounds of the 2014 draft, respectively. Also, a running back who goes by the name Latavius Murray shined on the big stage against the Kansas City Chiefs (there first win of the season) and then played well for the rest of the season. The biggest problem on the team though was that Derek Carr did not really have any targets to throw the ball to. This could change very quickly in my opinion. The Raiders hold the fourth overall pick in the NFL Draft, and the wide receiver class is pretty good. If they want, although I would not recommend it, they could grab an outside linebacker to start alongside Khalil Mack to bolster their run defense. That could be quite dangerous.

  4. Dante Fowler Jr. - Outside Linebacker - Florida
  5. Vic Beasley - Outside Linebacker- Clemson
  6. Randy Gregory - Outside Linebacker - Nebraska
  7. Shane Ray - Defensive End - Missouri
  8. Alvin "Bud" Dupree - Outside Linebacker - Kentucky
  9. Arik Armstead - Defensive Tackle - Oregon

Week 14 Power Rankings

Cowboys on a Roll, Panthers Drop Not many people expected the Dallas Cowboys to top the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football during Week 13. The Saints came into the game winning ten straight, while the Cowboys were a "mediocre" team in the midst of a three-game winning streak. The Cowboys won 13-10 and will rise in the week's rankings. Week 7 Power Rankings

Chiefs Suffer First Loss; Ravens Shut Out Titans The New England Patriots were able to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs by three points at home, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers came back to avoid an upset to the 49ers, the Steelers defeated the Bengals, and the Dolphins took down the Bears at the end of overtime. There were some unexpected wins and losses, as well as some close games, in Week 6. The Dallas Cowboys blew out the Jacksonville Jaguars and their top-notch defense, 40-7.
