Rams are on Fire, Chiefs stop the Chargers
Jimmy Garappolo definitely seems like the answer at quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. He has been playing very well and is only the second quarterback to win his first five starts in the NFL. The 49ers defeated the Tennessee Titans 23-22 with a last-second field goal. In another game on the West Coast, the Los Angeles Rams absolutely crushed the Seattle Seahawks in every facet of the game. They outplayed Seattle on offense, defense, and special teams. Todd Gurley ran for 3 touchdowns, and also had one receiving touchdown. In the best game of the week, the New England Patriots outlasted the Pittsburgh Steelers after a wild sequence of events in the final minute of the game. The Panthers, Saints, and Falcons all won their games, and continue to fight for the NFC South crown. The Chargers have been hot for the past couple of weeks, while the Chiefs have been absolutely cold, but in the end, the Chiefs actually defeated the Chargers (and it was not even close). In other news, the Ravens defeated the Browns, the Vikings crushed the Bengals, and the Jags outplayed the Texans. This week has created some separation between playoff teams and non-playoff teams, although there are many things that still have to be decided in the final two weeks of the season. Here are my power rankings heading into Week 16:
