The Patrick Mahomes to Tyreek Hill connection did not disappoint on Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs played the Los Angeles Chargers. When Alex Smith was traded to the Redskins last March, we were not 100% sure what to expect from Mahomes, who had not attempted many passes. Everyone knew about his mobility, arm strength, and risk-taking mentality, but no one knew how this translated on the field. Some of those concerns have definitely been lifted with a 38-20 win in Week 1, with Mahomes orchestrating four touchdown passes. He looked smart, patient, calm, and collected in the pocket. Besides the quarterback, everyone saw why Tyreek Hill is one of the most lethal weapons in the entire league on the offensive side of the ball. Hill scored on a punt return, catch-and-run TD, as well as a running TD. He finished with A LOT of all-purpose yards. Hill's burning speed is something that defenses are simply not prepared for.

The Chiefs offense is firing on all cylinders, and we will just have to wait and see if Mahomes and Hill can sustain this level of performance.

Week 14 Power Rankings

Cowboys on a Roll, Panthers Drop Not many people expected the Dallas Cowboys to top the New Orleans Saints on Thursday Night Football during Week 13. The Saints came into the game winning ten straight, while the Cowboys were a "mediocre" team in the midst of a three-game winning streak. The Cowboys won 13-10 and will rise in the week's rankings. In other important games, the Chicago Bears lost a shocker to the New York Giants, Lamar Jackson won his third straight game for the Baltimore Ravens against the Atlanta Falcons, the Houston Texans won their ninth straight game, and the Los Angeles Chargers won a close one against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Carolina Panthers are quickly fading in the wild-card race, and have lost four straight games. Week 7 Power Rankings

Chiefs Suffer First Loss; Ravens Shut Out Titans The New England Patriots were able to defeat the Kansas City Chiefs by three points at home, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers came back to avoid an upset to the 49ers, the Steelers defeated the Bengals, and the Dolphins took down the Bears at the end of overtime. There were some unexpected wins and losses, as well as some close games, in Week 6. The Dallas Cowboys blew out the Jacksonville Jaguars and their top-notch defense, 40-7. It is been hard to figure out which teams are "contenders" and which are "pretenders" this season. It is especially difficult to rank the middle of the pack teams.
