Trades, Trades and More Trades!
Many trades have occurred in the league in the past week and will most likely change the outcomes of the draft and free agency. The Cleveland Browns have suddenly made their team a lot better in one day. Yesterday, the Browns traded for Miami Dolphins wide receiver Jarvis Landry, Green Bay Packers cornerback Damarious Randall, and Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor. They still have two of the top four picks in the NFL Draft this year, as well.
The Los Angeles Rams traded away Alec Ogletree to the New York Giants, Robert Quinn to the Miami Dolphins, while receiving cornerbacks Aqib Talib from the Denver Broncos and Marcus Peters from the Kansas City Chiefs. The Broncos now have enough space to make a run at signing quarterback Kirk Cousins in free agency.
In other news, the Seattle Seahawks have released top cornerback Richard Sherman and their #2 cornerback, Jeremy Lane. They traded defensive end Michael Bennett to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles traded Torrey Smith to the Carolina Panthers as well.
The Arizona Cardinals are expected to release Adrian Peterson and the New York Giants are expected to release Brandon Marshall.
Only more news is to come. Stay tuned.
